Do you see yourself in that list? Perhaps one of the other gifts listed in the New Testament would fit you better. Gifts such as generosity, cheerfulness, wisdom, faith, miracle worker, discernment. All of these gifts, says Paul, are activated by the same Holy Spirit. And, if you still don’t see yourself, don’t be concerned; the lists are not exhaustive. But of this you can be certain; there is a place and a need for your gift to be shared with the church and with the world. All you need is the capacity to dream about what might be possible.

Linda has not lost this capacity to dream. With minimal resources she has built an energetic ministry that cares for the least and the lost of Saskatoon. The Bridge serves meals, offers Bible studies for women, free haircuts, a Christian 12-step program and much more.
Leonard has not lost this capacity to dream. For more than twenty years he has worked at healing relationships between Mennonites and First Nations folk. Progress sometimes seems miniscule yet friendships formed over the years are leading to new possibilities for reconciliation.
Dave has not lost this capacity to dream. Each year he and the nominations committee look for gifted women and men in our congregation to offer leadership in everything from hospitality to education to visitation and caring … and more!
