The colour for Advent is purple which represents royalty and kingship. In the incarnation our King comes though in a lowly and vulnerable form. The prophet Malachi invites us to reflect on what this coming might mean for us:
Who can endure the day of his coming?
Who will be found pure at his coming?
How do we prepare for his coming?
What voice will we listen to this season?
