Scripture :   John 10.1-10

This year our Lenten series will focus on the seven ‘I AM’ statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John.  This week we focus on Jesus, the GATE.   The abundant life that we have in Jesus is made real through his work of welcoming us into his community, guarding us from possible danger/harm, and leading us to places where we are nourished by God’s goodness.   The gate metaphor fills us with hope/joy/peace because of the promise that God is always present with us.
